For licensed divers who want to relax and improve their diving OR obtain the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification.
Each day begins with an 8 am yoga class which teaches you to breathe properly and prepares you for the sport element of diving. The first days diving will include a brief refresher of knowledge and skills if necessary. All dives are from the shore with an optional extra day on the boat if desired. You will safely dive the most beautiful dive sites in Dahab including the famous Canyon and the Blue Hole. Dives are conducted in small groups with individualized attention given to each diver by the instructor in order to improve relaxation and bouyancy. Dives are planned according to the divers’ level and experience. Dive pace is generally slow and chilled out to best enjoy the exquisite beauty of the undersea life.
There is a yoga class every morning at 8.00am with one free day per week. During the week guests are invited to join an optional Desert Dinner: Meditate in a silence incomparable to any other. Watch for shooting stars in a sky with a million and have dinner cooked by local Bedouin in traditional style. People are so struck they never want to leave. We often have the opportunity to go on a mini safari to the Three Pools diving & snorkelling site, where we will practice our morning yoga session by the sea shore. Afterwards you will be delighted by a Bedouin breakfast & you can then dive. The Three Pools is named due to the natural formation of coral pools, each connecting to the other.
The group also generally go out for dinner together a couple of evenings in the week to one of Dahab's many restaurants.
On your day off you can visit the famous Mount Moses and/or visit St Katherine’s Monastery. You can also go to snorkel at Ras Abu Galum, a small Bedouin village one hour north of Dahab up the coastline. Bedouin live there as they have done for centuries and it is still without electricity. There is wonderful snorkelling there and you can stay the night there hosted by Bedouin.
There is still plenty of time for additional activities which include diving, snorkelling, camel or horse riding, desert dinner/meditation, trekking, mountaineering and wind/kite surfing
Course week includes 7 nights b & B at the Bedouin Moon Hotel, 6 yoga classes, 4 days diving (2 dives per day) with full equipment and tuition, transportation and return airport transfers.
